Saving Sandals, Saving feet, Saving lives

Seva Sandals is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to providing sandals to children in need.

Seva* Sandals began on a small scale back in 2005, by providing 26 pairs of protective sandals to children at the Mother Miracle school in Rishikesh, India. The children were wearing flimsy, worn down shoes, leaving their feet exposed to the unsanitary conditions of the streets. They were then vulnerable to soil transmitted disease and infection.

Seva Sandals knows sturdy shoes are necessary to meet children’s basic needs. Associated health problems that come with going barefoot prevent children from walking to school, getting to the market for food, or going to receive medical care.

Seva Sandals aims to protect youth by providing a pair of sturdy sandals to those who cannot otherwise afford them. Your donations will reduce the risk of injury from going barefoot in the streets.

*Seva: (seh-vah) is a Sanscrit word meaning “selfless service”.
